If you are Python coder and don't like javascript pyjama might be your frameworks, you can build AJAX apps in Python (like Google did for Java; Check it out; Don't try to search in google word "pyjamas" you will land to the night wear dress pyjama. -)

New applications are coming every day, so new names. Quite interesting name. Don't know what kind of application names you will get to hear in near future.
It's original name is pygwt. It's still in baby mode. There are some examples given on this page pyjamas.pyworks.org/examples/ and you will get to see demo and script too. And yes don't miss the KitchenSink.

Another day another framework.

Are there really loads of Python coders out there itching to use Ajax but who can't be bothered to learn a bit of JavaScript or just download script.ac.ulous.

I blame Ruby On Rails for all this malarkey I really do
