horde blacklist not working

set to move blacklisted addresses to junk, but messages still appear in inbox and are not moved, even though the addresses are definately in the blacklist list

any ideas

I have tested the horde blacklisting by creating a test email account on one of the domain on your vps. The blacklisting worked for me. Mail sent from an email address added in the blacklist straight away went to the junk folder.

Have you activated the filter by clicking on 'Apply Filters' ?

the filter was already ticked enabled
however,
I clicked apply filters and all blacklisted emails were moved to junk

Will they go automatically in future or will I need to click apply filters every time

They should go automatically to the junk folder as I got the same result when I test it on the test email account.
