I have found people are working on PC 12 to 14 hours even more hours daily and they have not come out with such problem, btw I would suggest one should have small break after long working hours that will minimize the stress. Also you need to exercise regularly and especially join a recreation centre, this will keep you fit. I have found few good suggestion on this site, hope this will help please visit

I suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome as a direct result of using a PC for stupid lengths of time. I've had to have a stent fitted in my wrist and now take much better care of myself
Seriously you will get away with poor posture for years and then one day (probably after you hit 30) it will bite you on the arse. Take care children and use your keyboard and mouse properly.
