Has anyone noticed that today Google has completed its 8 years.

Yes I did notice a birthday cake on in place of an 'O' of Google. I think Google has gone a long long way ahead of it's contemporaries within those 8 years to be the best.

Google has foresight, they know that any unknown factor such as "social bookmarking" is going to take place of SE and probably human beings are going to beat the search robots in future, thats the reason they are going for many strategic alliance like recently they have allianced with AOL and also diversifying their area to different sectors like payment processing, hosting business and many more. So far I believe they can strengthen their presence in different area within next 8 years if there would be NO split in management, but who has seen the future..
