I m more concern about " Global Warming " If we still don't care for our nature we would have to face nature for our existence in near future.

Personally I think the worry about crime and terrorism is disproportionate to their effects. For instance the fear of crime can have a much greater effect on a persons life then the crime they are likely to encounter. Similarly the fear of terrorism can have a more negative impact on a countries freedom or the lives of others then terrorism itself. However I do not wish to diminish the really negative effects of crime or terrorism in any way.

My main concern, not worry, is to do my bit where I can to help against terrorism and climate change. For climate change that isthings like recycling, composting and voting for green policies. For terrorism it is trying to vote for the people who will deal with the issue in what I see as the best way possible.

Very sensible reply Falesh.

Personally I find it hard to worry about the big stuff because I'm fortunate enough to live in a developed Western nation where none of it directly effects me. I'm more worried about things which happen at a local level although I do find the way that our civil liberties in the UK are being eroded by the politics of fear to be a bit tiresome.

There wont be any Terrorism or Crime after few decades as we all will start struggling for our survival and it wont be possible for anyone to create problems for others when the day time temperature would cross 120 F ( 50 Degree Celsius ).

We've managed to do good planning for end of our world

I am sure global warming is a problem, probably, but I am more annoyed with people attributing EVERYTHING that happens to global warming. Hot April - global warming. Rain in May - global warming. Cold winters - global warming.

Don't get me wrong - I do my bit - recycle when I can (but my green bin is always full so have to put some in my main bin !!) but until the big companies and countries (USA & China) get behind it and do something, I really don't see the point in changing all my light bulbs !

There is bad science on all sides of the debate, there always is in a big emotive debate like this. Often it takes more then just scientific fact to get governments to actually change, so I can't get too worked up about false claims. Then again if too much false hype is used it can damage the argument.

Tricky one that. My opinion is that if everyone, including me I hasten to add, did their best we would a lot better off. It is too easy to say one persons impact is too small, or the UK's impact is too small, etc...

I too think global warming is the greatest threat than terrorism/crime, it is leading to mass destruction...
