Default Extensive Support FAQ

Clearly needed, as chat is extremely lacking and unable to answer the simpliest of questions correctly.

You can search our Knowledgebase and our blog as most of the technical questions have been answered in our knowledgebase.

You can see our knowledgebase at http://www.webhosting.uk.com/knowledgebase/ and our blog is located at http://blog.webhosting.uk.com

If your questions are related to cpanel hosting then most of the questions can get answered from google.co.uk as well. Our support staff wont find it convenient to answer FAQ's through livechat.

No wonder the servers are always hard pressed.

The FAQ and blog do nothing to advise of the accepted maximums of such things as emails per hour to smtp as an example.

These sort of questions about acceptable running would make it clear to all that to go above these (as your servers do not stop these actions) will result in suspension.

Server hosting your account never crossed load of 0.2 just before 3 weeks and suddenly in this week it gave multiple problems. We cannot make FAQ for such problems as same customers were there on it before 3 weeks and same customers now as well.

Our job is to troubleshoot and keep servers up and running to meet our uptime guarantee. Action has to be taken as per situation.

Perhaps the name Psychic hosting would be more apt ? you were well aware of what and how many domains were intended on the account as well as being aware of an extremely large dbase. I have made extensive efforts to find out your servers limitations so I may work within them , but frankly, many of your support have not got a clue.

We have limit of 200 emails per hour for SMTP but there's no such limit for php emails. PHP emails get filtered by custom spam protection scripts on our servers.

If anyone tries to push spams using mailing scripts then the filters take care of blocking them from going out.
