Yes, you can have .com or .net or .org or .biz or .info

I think a time element would be a good idea on this offer e.g you have to make x amount of posts for a given time. It's nice to have enthusiastic new members but it's a bit tiresome when they just flood the forum for a couple of days and then vanish never to be heard from again.

Yes i believe that is a good idea, even though it may look like i am flooding, however, this is the way i personally establish myself within a community, unlike the many others that have joined just for the free domain name, I intend to stay as long as my site is up and running.

Those who will come just for free domain will disappear after they get the domain so making any kind of rules wont help us. We can simply expect some people to fall in love with our forum and that is how the forum has been growing so far.

So if people get the domain name, leave can't you delete there domain names or something?

does it require a new 50 post to be upgraded to the shared plan or 50 with the 30 of domain name? Does mean a new 20 post?

Apart from the 30 post for free domain you need to post 50 new post to upgrade to the next higher shared plan.

It says in the original post that it is only for the first 20 members - surely there have been 20 by now - judging by all very short posts I have seen in the last few days !!
