As a part of our promotional campaign at WebHosting UK we are offering our clients as well as the members of our forum a chance to get a free domain or free plan ugrade or new basic linux shared account free for a year. All you have to do is join our forum http://www.webhosting.uk.com/forums and contribute with quality posts and threads.

Only first 20 members to complete the required number of posts are entitled for the prize.

Eligibility criteria:
30 Post: Free domain (.com or .net or .org or .biz or .info)
50 Post: Plan upgrade to next higher plan (Upgrade is applicable for shared linux/windows plans only)

If we manage to get at least 20 posts per day ( regularly ) in this forum then the forum would be UK's most active forum as none other forums in UK have managed to get posts on daily basis.

We wish to run this forum as a open discussion forum for all as all other forums in UK are managed by some or the other company who dont allow anyone to write against them or in favour of others in their forums.

I think you'll find that there are a whole bunch of forums based in the uk (maybe the server is in the US) that get a whole heap more than 20 quality posts a day.
However I think it's admirable that you are doing something about it, that will also benfit the users of your services.

This is a great idea - it's the first time I've come across the forums and I doubt I would have discovered them otherwise. And who doesn't like the idea of free stuff?!!

We will have 6 moderators for the forum by the end of this month. 3 Moderators will be from our staff and 3 will be chosen from the existing customers who will be actively involved in monitoring and growth of the forum.

Moderation job is lil time consuming job but it does help to establish relations with other members of forum and one can never guess what business may come to your part by developing relations with people from various industries.

aye it's a really good idea. It's funny as i've been using this webhosting service for years now. Even when it was owned by someone else, and because of the service i've stayed where i am.

We should have started this forum long time back but its better late than never.

Ohh thats really Sad.

Its always so good to have a community especially on a host. This way there is a lot of exchange of ideas, ppl can get new staff members for their sites, they can learn things they didnt know about from others and other so many things.

I really thing this plance shoud be big.

Especially with old n veteran customers active on the forum, new comers who visit the forum can feel relieved seeing their posts or probably testimonials given by them

Me reaches 30, but I don't think I've got "quality posts" yet...and I hate to admit a couple are in the Community forums. Exciting times though. I need a new website for my new band. Of course when we hit the big time, whoever is our host will get millions of hits (at no charge of course).
