Default Running Perl Scripts

Hi there,

I'm trying to run TS2PerlMod of my TeamSpeak server but having problems running this script. I've tried to execute this file "ts2perlmod.pl" which is at
C:\SWSoft\Plesk\Additional\Perl\bin

I've created a .bat file with the following command:

Code:
start "C:\SWSoft\Plesk\Additional\Perl\bin\perl.exe ts2perlmod.pl"
After I run this, I just see a black box and just shows:
C:\SWSoft\Plesk\Additional\Perl\bin>

Am I missing something?

Question

Hi Karim, I doubt something wrong with your perl module script. I've several others working in the same fashion as within your .bat file.

Well if something is wrong with Perl, why is the staff members saying they don't provide third party support?

Hi Karim,

Please let me know the Ticket #. I will ask one of our senior staff member to look into it.

Question

Hi Karim, I'm not sure about what your script contains or what it does, but mine one was a simple "Hello World" program meant to test 'Perl is working OK'.
If your scripts are from TeamSpeak, I bet it's the code, as I've tested few of their perl scripts & they have failed throwing weird errors !

You should try Ventrilo, alot of people have had issues running Teamspeak on the servers, mainly running out of RAM very quickly

Well this doesn't even throw an error, and with webfusion it worked fine and when I used a vps previously with webhosting.uk.com it also worked fine, so why not now? I doubt the scripts?

No way, it runs perfect on this server and never suffered any downtime. Vent maybe more popular, but I am not use to it, nor is my members and it just looks horrible.

Haha!

Roll on TS3

Although there will be more licensing it will be less strenuous on the server in the longrun.

What's TS3 suppose to mean? It's not even out.

Well I know TS3 will be better than Vent but do you think the voice quality will be better also?
