Adding repositories under debain

How to add repositories under debain? I'm facing issue while updating package with apt-get.

In this case there are few possibilities you can try.
If you are facing issue while updating any particular package then try to update repositories and perform installation again.
You can give a try for following :

vi /etc/apt/sources.list

add following line along with existing one.... [do not comment any line]

deb Debian -- Security Information lenny/updates main contrib
deb-src Debian -- Security Information lenny/updates main contrib

deb Index of /debian-volatile lenny/volatile main contrib
deb-src Index of /debian-volatile lenny/volatile main contrib

deb Index of /debian-backports lenny-backports main contrib non-free
deb ftp.osuosl.org :: Oregon State University Open Source Lab stable main contrib non-free
deb-src ftp.osuosl.org :: Oregon State University Open Source Lab stable main

save the file and give a try... this includes most of updated packages.
