Time scale
What sort of time scale should it take to upgrade from a vps to semi dedicated, i asked to be upgraded, was sent an invoice so paid that, then sales team said "We will go ahead and get the VPS upgraded." they also said that the nameservers and ip address would change so i was expecting my site to go down for a while.
Got up this morning and had another invoice to pay, so am i now on semi dedicated or still on a vps. I can still log in to WHM and cpanel via my old ip address, and have not been told of a new ip address. So how long does the process take, or am i getting over exited and need to wait a bit longer.

By myself, I've swapped all my vps accounts to another vps in under 12 hours, including dns propagation, that was also time spent re-configuring the new VPS to match the settings of the old one. This is the basic process that yours will go through, though given that most DNS can take upto 72 hours to propagate (unless you reduce the time 3 days in advance ), it may be why your site is still up at the old address.
Maybe a little chat on Live Help would be better, as members of the forum, we don't have access to the accounts, and support sections, where as live support will do, and they can at least request an update if there isn't one.

Hello
Hello,
Apologise for this inconvenience. We were waiting for our new hardware nodes. You should receive semi-dedicated server login details within next 3-4 hours. Then we will quickly proceed with the migration.
Appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hi,
From what I can see, you haven't updated the DNS at the domain side. You will need to point the new nameservers.

Hello,
I have investigated the issue and it seems the your domains are pointing to old vps.
I will suggest to mail the domain name in question to vps@webhosting.uk.com, so that we can check the issue further and update you accordingly.
