Keywords in top 5 position?

Hello Friends,
I have been working on one of the SEO project from past few months and by working consistently on this I had achieved my first target that is to bring all the keywords on top ten position but now I am focusing to bring these in top 5 position and some of the techniques which I am using are directory submission, social bookmarking, forum posting, blogging, article submission etc., Still by using all these techniques the keywords are not yet stable on their position for example one of the keyword was on position 4 and now it has dropped down to position 7. Please suggest some techniques which can be helpful to bring all the keywords in top 5 positions and make them stable.

A link wheel is a group of connected websites and these websites are linked to a main url; it is aimed at boosting the search engine rankings of the specified keywords. There is some rick involved in this strategy because there are chances that you may get banned by Google or any of the search engines. There also might be a devaluation in all those links. If you want to increase your keyword ranking then it is your time to do blog commenting and forum posting to also build backlinks.

It's very difficult to enjoy the top ranking for your targetted keywords consistently, you will have to work hard(fresh content) and will have to study all the latest SEO tactics so that you can maintain the rankings of your keywords.

I agree. Whatever SEO strategy you follow, it will take some time to get the results. The most important aspect is the on page optimization. If the on page optimization is right, the process of getting good rankings will not take a lot of time.

Use fresh content daily check your content, use link wheel, blog commenting, forum posting etc.

It is hard to maintain top position but it is not impossible. I would like to suggest to update your website content and also update all meta if possible. Fresh content and meta will push keywords for ranking. Then after carry on with off page activities.
