Designing small website with some content and putting up few of banners is not enough to become a successful affiliate marketer.

Here are some basic tips for affiliates (PLEASE ADD MORE):

1) Forum posting: Generate more awareness with your clients, web users and also with the Search engines by putting the back links in the signature part.

2) Social Media Marketing: Promote your blog and articles and also generate back links for your own website

3) Email marketing: Simply, add an opt-in mailing list on your website by the visitors allowing prospects who come to your website to choose to receive a free newsletter.

My step by step formula to get instant traffic for my website using "Lens or Hub Pages"

1. First of all create your own Squido Lens or Hubpages for online promoting .

2. Search on Google, Yahoo on on any of your liked other search engine for tags using:

site:Squidoo : Welcome to Squidoo "Squidoo : Tags" KEYWORD
for Squidoo or site:HubPages.com KEYWORD "Hot Hubs" for HubPages
where KEYWORD is your main keyword or phrase for your lens or hub

3. Make a list of all the tags from the tag pages which are already listed in search engines such as Google ,Yahoo etc.

4. Add the tags to your lens.

This will defiantly help to improve the traffic scenario. Let me know how it worked for you ..!
