Have you ever tried using the Submit to Search Engines feature in cPanel; Does it work?
I konw it is always a better option to submit it manually, but just want to know about the feature.

The last time I heard, the search engine submission feature in cPanel was removed because the search engine companies are constantly changing their guidelines and altering their algorithms and it became unmaintained as more and more engines were added. Can anybody here confirm whether that feature is still there in cPanel or removed?

No I have not tried doing so. Yes cPanel does have such an option with which you can submit your website to several search engines at one time. I guess it is not so popular or least used.

These are a few things to remember before using cPanel submission tool. The submission or registration policy keeps on changing. Sometimes free submissions are suspended due to huge requests and only paid submission is allowed. So if you do manual submission you can check the current policy that is followed. It may take a long time for the website to appear on a search engine. Multiple submissions in a short period may get your site banned from the search engine list.
