Default Link Farms

Getting links from a link farm is considered to be a wrong practice ( Back Hat SEO).Everyone in the SEO field knows about it. Majority of them avoid such unethical practices. So I wonder how do such farms still exists and manage to get someone linked to their farm.

Yes, it’s a wrong practice,

though black hat SEO’s apply it to earn pounds out of it.

Also many ignorant fell pray to it.

I think this is the main cause of their existence.

The only way to be out of this is to not to get linked with them.

Google and other top search engines use link popularity as an important part of their ranking algorithms so this prompts many ignorant and unaware webmasters to join link farms and stuff their sites with as many links as possible in a bid to get higher rankings for their sites. But they fail to realize that all links are not considered equal and specially the links from link farms. Using link farms is strictly forbidden by the leading search engine's terms and conditions.

Not all webmaters are aware about link farms being an unethical SEO practice, and these unaware webmasters are the reason for their survival. In the process of building up links to their site, they end up using link farms.
