Off late, there has been much discussion over the benefits of long pages with lots of content versus several smaller pages where the content is broken up.
But I haven't got a definitive answer to this. Can anybody elaborate on which is better from the search engine standpoint, 1 long article on a single page or breaking a long article into several small pages? |

Long pages are considered an authority by both the search engines and the viewer while short articles have great CTR. So I guess a mix of both would probably be the best. Long articles are good for getting links and making your website a good resource and short articles for more fun and getting broad coverage. From SEO standpoint, long articles help the search engines to evaluate a site's theme better, A single comprehensive page gives people something to refer and is something that naturally gathers links.
