Webmasters ! how many of you do your html validation ? if not, why ? does it affect ranking

No one knows if validation makes a direct difference in the SERPS, but I think it will helps indirectly. Valid code helps to make sure that users have a good experience on your site, which will improve your site's chances of getting links.

Alway always always. Surely the case for validation has been made over and over again? An effect on SERPS shouldn't really come into it - if you're a Web designer or developer and you're in any way professional you should be coding to standards and meeting accessibility guidelines unless you have a really really good reason not to.
