When you put complete URL of your website in google and a single output displaying your websites title and short description is not shown then you should make out that your website has been sandboxed. PR checking tools will also show your websites PR as 0.
If you have a new website then you should wait for sometime for google to index your website. Newly added websites may take some time for indexing and those are not sandboxed.

The Sandbox Effect is the theory that websites with newly-registered domains or with pages yet to receive a PageRank are placed in a sandbox in the indexes of Google until such time is deemed appropriate before a ranking can commence.

Everybody raise eyebrow about the PR when the sites play in sand, but its quite natural process for google to hault spammers efforts to create a sudden success. In certain level it is oblserved that a web site getting a huge amount of links and coverage from trusted sites like BBC News, washington posts, telegraph, CNN andr from few .gov sites does not fall in trap of sandbox and evn .org domains do not stay as longer in sandbox.
