Cloud hosting

I am into reseller hosting and I have some servers. The hosting requirements of my clients is increasing and I don’t want to get into overselling of my hosting resources. I have read about cloud hosting. Since cloud hosting is known for guaranteeing the uptime and also ensures scalability, I was wondering if cloud hosting would be right for web hosting business.

I think you should be able to upgrade to the next higher reseller plans if available. If not you can directly move to the cloud servers. If you are looking for scalable hosting.. that is increasing resources when required then cloud is good for you.

Cloud hosting will offer you with 100% uptime(network and power) and a scalability wherein you can individually upgrade the server resources like RAM, CPU, Bandwidth etc whenever you require them. You can definitely consider upgrading to a cloud server as by doing so there won't arrise a frequent need of upgrading the package, you can just upgrade the resources keeping the package same.

This will benefit you as a reseller as there will be no downtime for upgrading the resources on the cloud server.
