Default IPS Tag ??

My current registrar is asking for some IPS Tags for allowing me to transfer my domain to webhostinguk. I have provided them the nameservers details they says it is no use to them. So what is the IPS tags exactly ??

To change your IPS tag you will need to contact the registrar or hosting company from where your domain name was registered. Request them to change the IPS tag of your domain name to 'WEBHOSTINGUK'. if you want the domain name to come under our registration. Please inform our billing department once you change the tag and we will accept your domain name under our registration.

IPS tags are Internet Provider Security tags which are used by the Internet Service Providers to allow the control of the Domain name system. Every domain registrar has their own IPS tags. The IPS tags of your domain name should belong to the domain registrar you want the domain name to be registered with.

Nameservers of the domain are to be updated when you wish to host the domain on the server of a hosting provider even if the domain is registered with some other registrar. Nameservers point the domain to the webserver on which the data of the website is located. IPS tags are required when you need to change the registrar of the domain and hence you need to ask your domain registrar to update the IPS tags of the domain if the domain is to be transferred.
