Default Incorporating Adobe On The Hosting Server

I am planning to start my business and for that I will have to run Adobe InDesign server CS5.5 on the hosting server. I use the Windows operating system and I have heard that Linux is not supported by the Adobe InDesign server, is that true? I would also like to get an insight on selecting the appropriate web hosting plan for my business.

It doesn't look like InDesign 5.5 is supported on Linux unfortunately. As for running InDesign Server CS5.5 as long as you have the license there is no problem with this, if you could PM me your details there are quite a few options for Hosting this and i would you like to go through them with you personally.

If you choose a Windows dedicated server, it will be provided to you only with RDP access and you can host the applications you need on the server. Therefore, I don't think you should face any problem to host Adobe InDesign server CS5.5 if you have the license for it.
