windows and linux VPS

I am looking for cloud managed servers, I am having my VPS hosted with another host and looking forward to manage my windows and linux VPS in one cloud environment. Please help!!

It is certainly possible to provide a Linux server and a Windows server in a same Cloud environment. We use VMWare and HyperV Hardware virtualization technologies to create Cloud servers. As Linux and Windows both are supported by VMWare, we will provide you the both the servers in a single VMWare Cloud environment.

As each Cloud server is like a standalone server, it is certainly possible to offer a Linux Cloud server and a Windows Cloud server on the same VMWare Cloud Environment. Both servers will have individual identity of their own and each server will have it's own resources. As Linux is a free operating system, you won't have to pay for the operating system license, however, as Windows is a licensed application, you need to pay additional charges for Windows operating system license.

So is Vmware better or Hyper-v? which one is recommended?

Performance-wise both are good. Hyper-V is from Microsoft and there is no separate charge for Windows OS unlike the Vmware which will charge you a little extra for Windows OS license.

Both the VMWare and Hyper-V hosting technologies are very efficient web hosting platforms with a choice of Linus/Windows operating system. You can get full Root/RDP access in both the hosting plans. It only depends on your preference otherwise you will get the same hosting efficiency in the cloud hosting platforms.
