Are you looking to host your website on Linux or Windows Hosting platform ?
How much webspace, bandwidth would suffice your website hosting needs ?

well ... not too much requirements. In the first phase, It will display info about the company, products i.e pesticides/agricultural products where customers can order as well. In the second phase we ll start a forum with it where customers/ other persons can share their views.

You could start with a Shared Hosting plan. That supports html, php and jsp pages. As the website grows and requires more resources, you can easily upgrade to the higher plans.

A Linux based shared plan will be fine to start with.

I think you need Linux hosting, your requirements fit the linux servers. And personally I think linux is better than windows. easy to understand and use. You should choose a shared plan to get started.

My recommendation is also for Shared Hosting at initial stage. You can upgrade later on the basis of your requirements.
