Custom branded servers

I have seen that you offer Custom Branded Dedicated servers. What are they and are they different than normal Dedicated servers?

Custom Branded servers are nothing but servers which have custom WHOIS information for the IP's . Its just that the information about the IP's will be edited and if someone traces that IP, he will see the details of your company. They are also called as White labeled servers. So it can be used incase if someone wishes to resell our Hosting services. You can purchase our Managed Dedicated server along with a bunch of IP's and contact our System Admins once the server is setup, so they will edit the IP's information and put the details of your company. So the end user will never come to know that you are reseller and not some Hosting provider.

Yes, if you are using a Custom Branded Server in which the IP's allocated to your Dedicated server are registered using your company's information, than no one will be able to trace that you are just a Reseller and not the actual Hosting company. This type of hosting service is indeed very effective and beneficial for the persons who wish to resell our Hosting services.

Its really nice to know the Webhosting.uk.com offers Custom Branded servers which has custom WHOIS information. Is Custom branding possible on your Cloud/VPS hosting plans and are there any additional charges for providing Custom WHOIS IP's ?

Only Dedicated servers can be offered as Custom branded servers. You can purchase a bunch of IP's along with the the server and once the server becomes active, you can contact our System admins and ask them to change the WHOIS information of those IP's. There are no additional charges changing the WHOIS information of the IP's .

I think unless you are offering hosting services to your customers, you don't need custom branded servers. There is no reason for you to consider custom whois information unless you know you don't want your customers to know about your dedicated server's hosting providers.
