Default UK Cloud hosting vs. traditional hosting

I'm thinking of switching to a UK based Cloud hosting which is the latest buzz as we all know. Is this really the best option? I'm trying to decide if it's really worth the cost and the effort to migrate.

Yes, switching onto a UK Cloud servers from the Traditional hosting plans will be a worthy upgrade. As Cloud servers are setup on a Cluster of servers, so they offer a 100% uptime guarantee. This Guarantee is never offered on Traditional hosting plans, so you cannot be sure that your website will always be up or not. Cloud servers also offer you a guaranteed CPU share that will be used only by your account. Guaranteed CPU shared is not offered in Traditional Hosting plans, as all the accounts that are being setup on the main server share the CPU. So a Guaranteed CPU Share will also enhance the performance of your website. Moreover Cloud servers are Scalable, so you can even add additional space, bandwidth, RAM and CPU share at any point of time without upgrading the entire package.

So Cloud servers are really Ideal for hosting your website.

The main advantage of Hosting your website on UK Managed Cloud servers is the Guaranteed 100% uptime that you get. Its very important if your Business is very much reliable on your website. In such cases you cannot afford to have a downtime of even a few minutes as it might cause you a big loss in your Business.

So if you wish to always have your website up and running, than you should indeed move onto Cloud servers.

Besides all the above points. What I simply understand when comparing the two products is cloud uses multiple servers and storage systems. The traditional hosting or Cheap Dedicated servers for eg. makes use of single server. Due to the use of multiple servers instead of one single server the performance and reliability is greater.

I think it is worth giving a try. Not only is Managed Cloud hosting reliable but also it offers scalability. The data is spread across the cloud, so you can be assured the reliability is better when compared to traditional hosting that uses a single server. I will suggest you to give a try to the cloud hosting

I believe if your website is very important for you and you cannot afford any downtime you should opt for cloud hosting. Iinstead of investing money into purchasing new servers, you can rent the server from the cloud infrastructure providers. Cloud servers scale up and down automatically depending on the your website needs.
