Default How to view the webstats for your Hosting plan ?

I would like to consider one of your UK based Shared Hosting plans. I will be hosting multiple domains on a single hosting plan. So it is possible to monitor the space and bandwidth that will be used by each domain name so that I will be able the to keep an eye on the increasing or decreasing traffic on my website ?

Yes, you can monitor your websites statistics through some monitoring tools which are included the control panel which we provide along with our UK Shared Hosting plans. With Linux Shared Hosting plans we provide a cPanel as the control panel and it includes "AW Stats" as a monitoring tool to monitor your websites resource usage. We provide Plesk or DotNetPanel control panel along with our Windows Shared hosting plans and it includes "Usage Report" as a monitoring tool to monitor your websites resource usage.

All the additonal domains are still under your primary domain so you can obviously view their usage from the control panel. You will see separate stats for the domains you add from your control panel.

Suppose if I am on holiday or if I forget to monitor my website's usage for a month and in that period if my website exceeds the resource limit allocated to it. What happens in this case, do you also monitor my website's usage and send me a notification or if possible a call, so that I can decide what I should do next ?

Yes, we will also monitor your hosting plans usage and will notify you accordingly. We will send you a notification email at your registered email address as soon your bandwidth Strikes 80 % mark, so that you can upgrade to a next higher plan and can use our hosting services without any interruption. You can even upgrade your hosting plan at any point of time to get more resources by getting in touch with our Billing dept.

I am not able to view my webstats from the control panel. "It says "c:/cgi-bin/statistics/... access denied". What should I do in this case ?

Hello Rogfedrer

"Access Denied" error generally comes when you do not have permissions on the specific file.

Login to your server and check the permissions on your domain.
give read and write permissions for IUser and domain user on the server in IIS.

Inherit the child permissions on the domain.

This will resolve your issue of "Access Denied"
