IIS 7.5 on Windows Hosting plans

I have a website designed in asp.net and it uses SQL 2005. I am looking a hosting provider that will meet my requirements. I need a Windows Hosting plan which has IIS 7.5 and .net 4. Will your Windows Shared hosting plans allow me to do so ?

Thank you for your interest in our Windows Hosting services.

All our Windows Shared hosting packages have IIS 7 and .net 4. We are not providing IIS 7.5 on our Windows Shared hosting plans.

Yes. we provide IIS 7.5 and .net 4 on our Windows based hosting plans. You will need to consider our Windows VPS, Cloud, Semi-Dedicated or Dedicated server hosting plans with Operating system as Windows 2008 R2(64 bit) for getting IIS 7.5. Only Windows 2008 R2(64 bit) comes with IIS 7.5. The Windows 2008 Standard edition(32 bit) comes with IIS 7 and we provide only Windows 2008 Standard edition(32 bit) on our Shared hosting plans. So you cannot get IIS 7.5 on our Windows Shared hosting plans.

Is it possible to start with IIS 7 and later upgrade to IIS 7.5 only and not upgrading the hosting plan?

IIS 7 will be installed on the server and not the hosting account. So, if you wish to upgrade to IIS 7.5 in future, you will have to upgrade the hosting package to VPS or Dedicated Server.

The IIS 7.5 version will be installed on the server. So to get IIS 7.5 you need to upgrade to a VPS or a higher hosting plan with a Windows 2008 R2(64 bit) Operating system.
