Default VPN on VPS servers

Do you allow VPN services on your VPS servers. I just want to confirm this because some hosting providers do not allow it on their VPS servers ?

Yes, we do allow VPN on VPS hosting solutions. Required modules TUN/TAP would be enable for your VPS so that you can configure VPN on your own.

Is there any limit on having concurrent VPN connection on VPS server. IF yes, what is it ?

There is no such limit defined about concurrent VPN connections on VPS, but it will depend upon the capacity of the VPS server as how much load it can handle. So you can have multiple connections on the VPS without overloading it.

I totally agree with ROSS you can have as multiple VPN connection on the server , but you just have to take care about the capacity of connection that a server can handle efficiently. If you need you can go with dedicated server or a cloud server with higher specification.

Yes, I understand that. I just wanted to confirm that do you allow VPN connections on the VPS server or not. I will not overload the server by having lots of VPN connections.

if you think you will need more connections to VPN, then you can simply upgrade to a dedicated server. A vps may not be able to handle too many connections..but a dedicated server will be able to do so..

I think , a normal VPS can sustain 5 VPN connections smoothly, just check the limit with your preferred webhost also check the pricing for the same.

I initially want 3-4 VPN connections on the server and as the VPN connections increase, I will upgrade to a Cloud or a Dedicated server. So I think there will not be any problem if I upgrade the hosting plan as the number of VPN connection increase ?

No, there will be no problem if you upgrade your Hosting plan. You can upgrade to a higher VPS plan or place a new order for or Cloud / Semi-Dedicated or a Dedicated server.

Are there any additional charges to have VPN enabled on a server?

There are absolutely no additional charges involved in enabling VPN on the VPS server. We will enable all the required modules and do all the server side settings for the VPN. However the configurations required on the local machine has to be done from your side.
