Hi,

I have been browsing a couple of web hosting sites and i have found that windows server are more expensive than linux sever i would like to know the difference between the linux servers and the windows server hosting , taking into account all cost stuff: databases, disk space, memory,bandwidth etc. ?

Regarding the cost on Windows Servers, Windows is a paid OS while Linux OS like CentOS is free.

Yes, Micro$oft is expensive then Open Source Linux

WebHosting platform selection depends on your web-development platform, if you are planning to host website based on Micro$oft application then you may be going with Windows Server rather then linux.
