You can use customized MX record or multiple MX records for your domain name. MX record priorities can be set when using multiple MX records. You can ask the technical dept. to assist you setting up the MX records.

I have a question to add now -- How actually would the priority work? That will mean we can set multiple mail servers and the mail is received through a set line of priority? sorry i've never done this before so im curios to know.

Thanks Rachel.

@ davedj Yes I figured out that the mails servers are set on priority like 10, 20 and so on.. so we are able to set multiple records.

That's right.. The lower the number the higher the priority. For example if your MX record priorities are 10 20 and 30 then MX 10 will be the first mail server to receive emails.

ok great!! and I assume WHM allows us to set it that way ? is that all a user does or there are additional settings required on the server ?
