Do you support MS-SQL 2008 on your Windows Hosting plans? If yes, which version is supported ?

Yes, MSSQL 2008 is supported and we can provide you MSSQL 2008 Enterprise on Windows Hosting packages.

That's great !! Do you allow any other MS-SQL versions on your Windows hosting plans ? If yes, what are the other versions that you support on your Windows hosting plans ?

We do support MSSQL 2005 & 2008 Enterprise versions on our Windows Shared hosting packages.

We do support all other versions of MSSQL depending on the requirement of the customer.. ie:

SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition
SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition

SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition

Can I choose any of the above MS-SQL versions on the desired Hosting plan that I will select or is there any specific hosting plan reserved for each of the versions ?

With the Windows Shared Hosting Plans you can have MS SQL 2008 Enterprise at an additional cost. This SQL version can be selected while ordering for the plan.

I would like to use SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition or a SQL Server 2008 Workgroup Edition. So which hosting plan should I choose to get the desired MS-SQL version ?

Check their website, they offer these editions only on Cloud and Dedicated Servers. So to start with, you can consider Cloud server as it is cheaper than Dedicated Server

Personally, I think that the additional cost for MS Sql 2008 enterprise is well worth it, and a pretty good deal. It is at least something to look in to and consider if you are using shared hosting.
