Default Thinking of transfering my VPS

Hello,

Due to my current webhosts support getting progressively worse, either not responding or just closing tickets without being in contact, I am looking at moving my Linux VPS service.

I have a couple of things to consider first of all, don't want to jump from the frying pan in to the fire. What level of support is given here? At the weekend I purchased an SSL certificate so if I wanted to change companies how would that effect the certificate, ie would there be any problems moving it accross? and how much would an additional IP be?

Thanks

Guy

Hello and to the forums. Hope you enjoy your stay.

I have answered your questions below:

What level of support is given here?
Ans. We offer 24x7 uninterrupted support through live chat, phone support and helpdesk. Hence, you can contact us at any point of time for support

At the weekend I purchased an SSL certificate so if I wanted to change companies how would that effect the certificate, ie would there be any problems moving it accross?
Ans. There won't be any problems while migrating the SSL certificate and our VPS support department will assist you if you need any assistance while migrating the SSL certificate.

and how much would an additional IP be?
Ans. We provide 2 dedicated IP's for free with each VPS, however, if you need additional IP's, you need to pay £2 GBP per month or £20 GBP per year for each dedicated IP address.

Please feel free to post if you have any further questions. We shall be glad to assist you

Support here isn't comparible to anywhere else, not many companies offer full 24/7 support via THREE methods.

Give it a try at least, you won't be disappointed.

Good evening,

The response here to support requests is way beyond what you would expect for the price that you would be paying.

However sometimes you can get into a "dead state" when you think that they are doing something that they think that you are doing and this can be at a quite technical level, so a combination of support tickets and live chat is essential.

If something that you expect to be happening isn't happening, even if it is obvious in your mind that is "their job", get in touch, it is very likely that it is a misunderstanding, don't wait, go onto live chat and it will be progressed.

I am new here and there are definitely oddities and processes that I don't understand but the "heart is in the right place".

Bye

Ian

Live Chat and phone support offered here are really useful and saves a lot of time. Not to forget the support offered by WHUK via tickets though. Most of the time the tickets are replied within 30 mins. turn-around time. As mentioned about the "Dead State" by Ian,I haven't encountered a single time when there was no one to reply my query,no matter what time of day or night it was.

You can find the best support here for sure, we have an example here in this thread itself. It was answered within few hours. This helps to prove the focus of the service that is provided
