Price increase :(

Hi Guys,

I've just had a heart attack looking at the new prices which I am sure must have only just changed, I am currently on a linux copper reseller at £9.99 a month,

A month ago I had an issue that pointed to the liklyhood I would have to change from a Linux to Windows server, i needed to run the PDFTK application on the server, after talking to support via chat I was told that it might be possible to do his on linux and my email address was taken and was told he would get back to me.

At the time i'm sure the windows option was only £12.99, and was put off migrating as I was told it was not going to be straitforward to migrate over to windows.

Anyhow another issue has now come up in which I have now almost definatly got to migrate to windows for ASP.net, after speaking to CS via chat this morning I was told it was a strait forwad swap,

So was about to order the windows pakage and noticed the price has jumped to £19.99, i'm more annoyed that had I been given the right information during my first contact about this issue, I would have been able to get it at the cheaper rate instead

I've been with Webhosting UK for a while now and have always found them amazing, support second to none, price great, and just this once it seems i've been shot in the foot

Although I have a reseller package, I don't actualy resell the space, It just allows me to give free hosting to friends and test websites, so I make no money from it.

Hi Pat,

The cost of Linux Copper reseller hosting plan was £9.99 per month and Windows Copper reseller price was £14.99 per month. We had hiked the prices of all the reseller hosting plans in March 2009. But as we provide Price Freeze facility so there won't be any effect on our existing clients because they have to continue paying the same price at which they have purchase the hosting from us. But for the package upgrades clients will have to pay as per the new prices.
