Linux VPS Starter enquiry

Hi,
I'm interested in the Linux VPS Starter package and would like to know if that server can handle Interspire Website Publisher. The software requirements are at this link - interspire.com/websitepublisher/requirements.php.

Hi,
I've just gone to order the Linux VPS Starter package and have asked for a Plesk Control Panel. The drop down box for the Operating System shows that with Ubuntu the cPanel is not supported.

Does that mean that Ubuntu and Plesk can't go together or is cPanel something different than Plesk?

1) Is the Plesk Panel the latest version, and
2) How is the PHP software updated?

Hi, the answer to both of these questions is Yes. Web Hosting UK provide alternative servers for those who wish to use a lower version of PHP such as PHP 4. Plesk is the latest version as well and Plesk is constantly updated as soon as an update is released.

Hi,

You will get latest version of plesk control panel installed on your VPS, but if you are considering a Linux VPS, then you should prefer cPanel control panel for better functionality.

PHP version needs to be upgraded manually, you will need to contact out support staff whenever you wish to add a new php module or upgrade version of php.
