Web Hosting UK offers autoinstaller like fantastico? if they do, what programs are available to autoinstall, specially joomla, what version of joomla the autoinstaller has?

Yes, Fantastico is freely available with cPanel hosting packages. There are many applications which you can install using fantastico. You would have Joomla : Version : (1.0.15)

You can have Joomla 1.5 with your cPanel Fantastico and can install it easily using Fantastico

Fantastico is really a very good feature provided with cPanel control panel which allows you to Install many Difficult Scripts by Few clicks. Also, Updating most of the Scripts is also very easy and can be done through Fantastico itself.

The only caveat with fantastico is that often some of the files are changed to make them work with it and some dedicated support for those packages may be invalid as a result because you're not using the files obtained from the site of the package itself.
