Dedicated Server costs gone up, VAT gone down

ok VAT has gone down by 2.5%, this is shown on all my invoices you send me, but....

you have put the price of all my servers up by 2.5%!

Can you explain why you have put the costs of my servers up without even telling me.

I have 3 dedicated servers and spend amount £600 a month with web hosting uk company, but feel its wrong to make a price change without tell us.

This was intended to be a short term solution to the problem. Well, I say problem, but that kind of depends on your perspective. For us, hundreds of our customers pay via automatic payments through paypal or standing orders. The VAT change meant that the total payment amount would change. Therefore, ever customer with an automatic payment method would need to setup subscriptions again. With 1 weeks notice, and entering into December, this was something we wanted to avoid doing. For you it's £600, but for many clients we are talking about a few pounds, if that.

However, I'm quite aware that this is indeed a price increase for VAT registered companies, and that isn't something we take lightly. All clients will have the opportunity to opt in for the VAT reduction being passed on. If you wish for me to do this for you early, please message me your details.
