Default Hosting for vBulletin forum

I am wondering if someone could point me in the right direction I am looking at running a vbulletin forum. At the moment I super mod a large forum but would like to run my own but don't know too much about what I need. Could someone point me in the direction of which web hosting package would be most suitable and if I needed to upgrade would I be able to easily.

thanks in advance.

Hello,

I would recommend you consider forum software PhpBB as this is free software. With Vbulletin your costs would increase because of the license needed to be purchased.

As you are new to this, I would recommend you start off small. The package you need will depend largely on the amount of users you expect your forum to have. All of our shared plans support PhpBB and SMF(another forum software). You can view these plans at http://www.webhosting.uk.com/cpanel-hosting.php

I would recommend you start with the Premium plan and upgrade as you need. If you need to upgrade you can simply pay the difference as and when you need to. Upgrading also involves no downtime and it takes just a few minutes to do.

If you have your heart set on Vbulletin, I would recommend you consider our VPS hosting plans. The Starter plan should be sufficient for your needs. Again, as with our shared hosting packages, you can simply upgrade by paying the difference. The upgrade again would involve no downtime and would take just a few minutes to do. Keep in mind, you would need to purchase a Vbulletin license for this.

With all our packages you will receive 24/7 customer support via live chat, ticket/e-mail and phone. You are in safe hands.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Is vB supported?

My last host thought it used too many resources.
