What name should be on my CC statement?

I have not long been signed up to the basic web hosting package. I payed £39.99 and payed through the 2checkout gateway. After receiving my credit card statement last night I have found two charges for £39.99. The problem is they are both under different names. Can I ask what merchant name should be on my statement as I am worried one is fraud. I have one from with the merchant name "PTI" and this was on the 25/03/08 and the other was under the merchant "230.com" and was on the 31/03/08. My invoice for by hosting package shows a payed date of the 21/03/08. I have contacted the biling department but keep getting cut off just as I ask for the name of the company that will show on my statement... I have to file a fraudulent activity report but really don't want to accidently include the real hosting payment as fraud...

You should see "2co.com" or "webhosting" in your statement for the payment made to our company.

Ah, that'll explain it. Looks like the misses miss heard the guy from the bank on the phone. She must have heard "two three oh dot com" instead of "two cee oh dot com"! Just need to find out why there is a payment from PTI Europe for exactly the same amount a couple of days later. Thanks!

let me know if you manage to find out. If not then request your bank to reverse that other payment.
