Hi,
I have 2 websites on another host, which has a feeble spam filtering facility.
I am having problems with spam emails.
I would like to know if this web hosting has a decent spam filtering system please.?

We have SpamAssassin 2.64 (Spam Filter) installed on all of your servers so all e-mails processed through the server are scanned for spam on the server itself so there's no need to worry about Spam mails. You can also customize spam settings from the control panel.

Can you clarify your pricing please,?

Do I need only one webspace for my two dotcom's.?
There is a difference isn't there between domains and sub-domains.
Sorry, I'm an amateur at this.

Hello Howard,

Yes, you only need one webspace with your two .com domains if you are wanting them to point to the same website. And indeed there is a difference between subdomains and domains.

Subdomains - You.this-website.com
Domains - this-website.com

Hi,
OK so I am convinced.

What is the order of procedures to make the move.
I have 2 seperate domains and will need 2 seperate webspaces I guess.
I looked at your faq about this, but it seems to have been written in pidgeon english.!

I am currently with web-hosting.uk.com

Hello Howard,
You need to signup and pay online once we receive your payment your shared account would be created within 30 minutes of times.

You can host as many domains as you want under a single hosting account as far as your alloted resources permits you.

Hi,
So, I have changed my host to webhosting uk and this morning
I have 6 spam emails as opposed to 200 over the weekend.
What a result eh.?
Maybe a bit of tuning on the spamassassin and I won't get any!

make sure you don't tune it too much else you won't get any emails
