Its not a trick question, it seems that there are not any restrictions upon your servers, I am impressed so far and as I have about 30 domains to transfer, so I am trying to find out what limitations you may have.
I am impressed by the fact you will move al my large databases, ecommerce sites database, shared secure servers for 9 customers only 2 have custom written databases, all have baskets and shared SSL (for which I wrote the scripts in perl (CGI)) and I have 2 heavy duty customers with other databases which are big. Is it ok to split the web and mx records and just in some cases host the web, but use an smtp (or localhost) for mailouts of lists? What are your limitations on mail lists, my company run a NO SPAM policy so the addresses are collected correctly and one is transferred from one domain to another (within the same client) Also do you notify VARs of all major changes either on the status page or by email and finally (it's been a long day) do you allow webmail ? Sorry I am so suspicious but I have been so let down by a major webhost Last edited by harry; 08-27-2008 at 08:07 AM. |

We wont let you down like other hosting companies. We've been in business since 2001 and trust of our customers has been most important factor of our growth.

It sounds so good I am gonna sign up.
I have over 40 domains (some of them have big stuff on them) to move and I know if I ask you will move the databases (some have over 1.5million records (About 500mb) (thank god!) some have more than 1 db too ) but copying over can all be done at once. To make changes to all these customers at once (to change all the DNS) which results in changes to all their mailboxes, Is it ok if once I know the websites are moved (I assume I can test them) to move the DNS one at a time cos some of the bosses are on their hols? ![]() |

Initially you should not change IPs of your nameservers as that will allow you to change DNS of websites one by one. All you need to do is point A records and MX records of your domains one by one from your WHM with the existing hosting company. Once all domains are pointed to our servers then you can change IPs of your nameservers and make them work from our server.
