What is the difference between these 2 files. I am a bit stumped.
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/etc/php.ini and /usr/local/lib/php.ini Are there 2 php.ini files?

Try this : php -i |grep php.ini and the file you get is the configuration file loaded for the server which is editable.
Hope this helps you else you can contact our technical support staff, they will help you better. |

Make sure you don't delete anything as misconfiguration can be rectified but once deleted is gone.

I will remember that!
I just remembered, when i edit files like php.ini, httpd.conf, it always tells me that there is another swp file and do i want to still continue editing or delete, etc! Not sure whether to delete or what, or why these files exist. Backup maybe? Any thoughts?
