SCPanel and high server loads..

Well anybody who uses SCPanel will know that since that last update it's been driving the CPU and LOAD crazy on VPS's, not so much dedicated servers.

Iv'e been monitoring it closely and below is the path that seems to be spiking the loads..

/usr/bin/php /home/habsradi/public_html/scp/admin/cmd/traffic/query.php

I'm guessing this is getting the query for the statistics, i have contacted SCPanel regarding this, they choose to ignore my request to impliment such a feature which will give the option to disable the script.

I thought i would let some of you SCPanel users know, and hopefully none of you have had an experience like this.

P.S; Those of you who think i should move to another company for shoutcast, SCPanel is cheap, stable but not very good at the load side

Hi Dan, afraid i know nothing of SCPanel or ShoutCast, just wondering though what do you broadcast is it audio as in radio?

I don't broadcast, i resell the radios.

Just looked at your site, now I understand.
Over 400 clients that's impressive. What percentage use the shoutcast as a matter of interest. As mentioned know nothing of it so just wondering how popular it is.

Well i host about six accounts which use the shoutcast on my VPS, which is the server i use for the shoutcast and i use a dedicated server from a different company for the main websites. I host about three websites also on the VPS. I just cant be bothered to purchase another dedicated server.
