Default Vps - Php

I have an issue I would some advice on how to resolve.

I have used on a VPS, the Plesk control panel to create a new hosting option for a client, with the PHP support option enabled, but when uploading PHP files to the hosting space, and viewing via a browser, the following error message is returned:

Not Found
The requested URL /info.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, while you are waiting for support to reply or someone who knows better, you may have an issue with mod_rewrite. Searching via google may shed some light. I maybe totally wrong though

not sure what the problem would be. you need to open a ticket for our vps support team to take a look into this problem.

If it was a problem with the PHP parser you wouldn't get a 404 - you would just get a blank page. Jon might be right if you are using any kind of complicated routing, otherwise have you definitely created info.php inside the Web root?

I know that's obvious but it's the kind of dumb mistake I make.

Files were uploaded to the web root (httpdocs) Ok; including HTML files which have been found by the http request, just not the PHP files.

Could be an error in httpd.conf then - have you raised a ticket with support?

Any chance we could get this spam removed - and that spammer banned. I've stopped laughing at their ridiculous site now.
