Default Zend Framework 1.0.0 RC1 released

Quote:
This Release Candidate is intended to show the complete set of features Zend Framework 1.0 has. Following the final 1.0 release, Zend Framework will continue to grow and improve, but there will be a great emphasis on maintaining backward-compatibility.

I've been using this since 0.9.2, not very long but I have built a shopping cart and a dynamic advert thingie (not the most elegant description ) with it. So far I have been very impressed.

We trialled Symfony at work but we went with Cake in the end and have been very happy with it. That was six months ago though and I'd be interested in hearing about anyone's experience with Symfony (although we have moved onto Flex now because we are so hip it hurts ).

lol.

I have only tried the Zend Framework as yet. There are so many things to learn that I haven't had time to sample others. Not that I'm complaining, studying programming is too much fun.

You can use Flex and Zend - flex is presentation layer only so you can use what you want server-side and it does look pretty cool.
