Default A Framework for PHP

If you like the MVC scaffolding of Ruby but want to stick with PHP then sitepoint.com/article/application-development-cakephp offers a potential solution

There's also a concise description of the MVC pattern. If you don't code to a pattern already it is well worth having a look.
