Default Not Acceptable, Appropriate representation error!

Hello, my first post woohoo.

Here goes. I run joomla 1.0.10 for my site <b>go-2-sa.com</b>. Suddenly today I get the following errors when adding content through the admin side:
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /administrator/index2.php could not be found on this server.

Now I have searched high and low for fixes, below is the most obvious search string I used in google:
<b>google.co.uk/search?hs=aHq&hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=%22an+appropriate+representation+o f+the+requested+resource%22&btnG=Search</b>

For the admins and webhosting support guys, please have a look at these different fixes and reasons, it seems to be more a server side problem than a php problem.

For now I have managed a work-around, by pasting the new items directly into the database, obviously this is no long term solution and everytime I open that item in joomla admin and close it, I get the same error.

Please anyone know a good fix? Support guys help?

PS.
It seems to also be related to html code, it does not give the error with just adding text
It also has something to do with .htaccess
and possibly something to do with php upgrades or strange security settings

BTW I do not run an html editor within my joomla

This is a strange one and i mention it in the forum and not as a Support ticket cause this prob seems to have just flared up suddenly all over and affects all php sites.

this is an odd one, bye bye and thanks

Edit by media-slave:
GREAT, now all my sites are doing the same thing, A fix would now be appreciated even more!!!

I would like to mention that I've disabled permission on /home/s4l3mm/www/e-razors/components/com_simpleboard/file_upload.php before few minutes as this file was used by some notorious kid to upload bot scripts on the server and he was able to execute those scripts on the server.

I had no options at that moment so I suspended this script. You would have received email from me if you had not started this post.

Please let me know when you would like to proceed with upgrade of this software so that I can enable permissions on the script.

Default No problem

Thanks for that. Please delete the whole folder: <b>media-slave.co.uk/e-razors</b> (LOL, just the e-razors folder):
/home/s4l3mm/www/e-razors (I tried to delete but don't have the permissions?)

This is not used anymore and thats why the install is out of date, I appologise I should have deleted it ages ago.

These scripts you stopped, could they have influenced my problem stated in my original post? ref:
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /administrator/index2.php could not be found on this server.

The problem above exists on all my site hosted by you:
<b>go-2-sa.com</b>
<b>game-slave.com</b>
<b>media-slave.co.uk</b>

Can you tell me which of the above lie on the same server?

Thanks!

We cannot delete any folders as per requests in forums. Forum is not a trusted place to accept delete requests.

Please open a ticket with the email address registered in our billing system and our support team will delete the folder you want.

Joomla developers have recently mentioned that they had some bug in the previous version of joomla and they have launched a new version which will fix those errors.

You should upgrade your joomla installation as that can solve your problem but we have very limited knowledge of joomla as its a third party software and we can fix server side issues if there are any but first suggestion would be to upgrade your joomla installation.
