Access email via IMAP

Hi All,

From last 2-3 days I am trying to access my email via php using imap. But i am unable to do so and cant see any connection to work. Does anyone have some example code I can look at .... this is what I am attempting to use

$host = 'http://213.175.217.160:143';
$user = 'phil@walkinggroup.org';
$password = 'xxxxxx';
$mailbox = '{' . $host . '}INBOX';

Pls do suggest me if you have any solution for this

Have you checked if there is SSL certificate installed on your server becasue of which the connection is unable to coonect.

Have you tried accessing the email using your localhost instead of the ip address and with the novalidate-cert bit added as per the php manual
