Can someone give me some tips on advertising my site?

Coming back to your point I agree with Peter. If you can provide some more details about your product and also little bit about your site then it will be much more helpful to go further,

as there are various methods depending on the product. Some of the ways we have already discussed in the previous thread posted by you.

The basic requirement of a site is to get SEO, whatever your site may be, you need to optimize your site first.

As a webdesigner, id have to remind you to improve on your meta tags. Since this would usually have an effect on search engines. Like if you put the good keywords and description then it'll most likely show up when somebody searches for it.

Next, you have to submit your sites on popular search engines. You could also put a "Refer to your friends" link on your site since your current visitors might actually want to share your website to their friends.
