What is the easiest way to make money online? If you were just starting out online and you don't have much of a clue about online business, what do you think would be the easiest thing to do to make money? Or would be most likely to make you money online?

The next thing is if you were to start your first online business, what would it be? What do you think would be profitable but yet easy to handle seeing that you are relatively in experienced?

For a newbie getting into online business would be somewhat difficult so better to start by building a site with unique concept with useful contents. Initially you should try to top SE so that your will get good organic traffic.
Once you get your site index and have a great traffic then you may consider signing up Adsense or some other ad revenue program. If you have a good product/service which you think could be sell through web then all you have to do is to build a site around it, do SEO, market it properly and start earning
Before getting into any online business i will like to survey it and would like to get an rough idea of returns for my investment. For me web-hosting is the good business, you can get good returns for your investment if done properly.

My suggestion is same as harry, in addition I would suggest to start a blog writing with the subject that interest you, blog index fast and it get popular easily, if you write good quality content and put your effort to promote it regularly. Later you can use adsense like program, auction site ads, affiliate programs, and in addition you can write reviews and posts for sponsor's those come through sites like blog to profit, pay for posts etc. Friend, as far I know In reality there is no any "ethical" way to earn money easily, I again repeat you need to work hard, later once your site monetize you'll find it easier to earn money through your site without working hard.

Instead of doing any unethical business I would personally consider to deliver news papers in the morning if I have nothing to work, I will earn little but I will be peaceful and happy.
