Currently Google Press Day event is going on in Paris; At this Press day event YouTube founders have announced localized versions of YouTube that mean you can get a country specific YouTube version easily just by switching between 9 different version of YouTube.
In the upper right hand corner there is a flag for the specific localized version that you are currently using. Clicking on the flag gives you a list of 9 localized versions of YouTube.

Google may announce many other facilities and services at this Press event…..

Today at Press event Google announced the acquisition of a company that provides software for creating online slide presentations “ Zenter ” It can be consider as an step for improving it’s G-mail’s web-based PowerPoint preview feature and to provide live web-based PowerPoint editor……

Also they now offer a new feature for their Google Maps: You can now write your own review for any business, and add a rating from 1 to 5 stars……you can quickly leave your positive or negative feedback when you went to a restaurant, shop, hotel, or any other place found on Google Maps.

***At Google Press Event it has release an API which would help developer to crosscheck url’s against Google’s database of malware pages so this API can be very useful for forum software developer who can now automatically add warnings for such harmful links………

*** Youtube went live with it’s mobile version of site at m.youtube.com Apples iPhone will feature a special YouTube player for this also Google Maps will receive special treatment on iPhones.

Google added “ Hot Trends ” at its Trends page which shows you the hottest queries for the day, also you can now go back historically and can see hottest queries for that day which can help webmasters.

Google Talk users can now create multi-user chat rooms at Google Talk gadget ( ref : talkgadget.google.com/talkgadget/client ) also Google had added a new feature “ Dictionary ” at it’s Language Translator section; It was found that there were bugs in this directory as there was problems with American vs British English spelling and this translator was unable to use Google spellchecker for typo.
